Kennedy Chase

is a Sophomore at the University of Alabama where she is majoring in News Media with a minor in communication studies on a Pre-Law track in hopes of becoming a political news correspondent.  Kennedy is a committed student and is involved in her school through different clubs and organizations such as the UA Radio, Television, and Digital News Media Association (UARTDNA), student recruitment team, and Al’s Pals, a volunteer mentoring program targeted to help mentor underprivileged elementary students. She also has an internship as a sideline reporter for Crimson Tide Productions dealing with all of the multimedia of Alabama athletics. 

Kennedy is also known as a pageant girl.  She has won various local, state, national, and international titles such as Miss High School America, Miss Teen Ohio United States, and National American Miss Ohio Jr. Teen to name a few. She has earned over $45,000 in college scholarships money with those titles. 

Kennedy is very passionate about giving back to her community and does so anyway she can.  To name a few organizations, she regularly donates to the Dayton Food Bank and St. Vincent DePaul shelter, volunteer's for "Shoes for the Shoeless", Autism Awareness, American Cancer Society, Daybreak Homeless Youth Shelter, Aubrey Rose Foundation, is a spokesperson for the Miss High School America B.R.A.V.E platform spreading anti-bullying awareness, and she is an advocate for human trafficking awareness. 

Kennedy believes that with dedication, purpose and positivity, we can truly make a difference in the world
